We are looking for a QA engineer to develop follow and execute automated and manual tests to ensure video game quality and performance expectations. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure video game runs smoothly and meets client needs, while being cost-effective. Our ideal candidate is a great teamplayer, with great communication skills and ability to thrust development and meet deadlines.

We are based in Madrid and have the option of working at the studio and/or remotely.

Requisitos mínimos

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in QA testing.
Couple video game titles released on various platforms.
High level of English.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Good understanding of Agile processes, JIRA, and JIRA filters.
Ability to prioritize bugs.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Compliance knowledge of different platforms.
Good technical knowledge of different platforms: Switch, PS, Xbox, PC.

Requisitos deseados

BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
Experience with combat games.
Experience working with P4V and Teamcity.
Experience debugging issues with Visual Studio.
Experience and knowledge of development kits for different distribution platforms and their requirements and test cases.
Experience working on games developed in Unreal Engine.
In-depth compliance knowledge of different platforms.

Responsabilidades

Perform validation and exploratory development test coverage using different testing techniques on assigned projects.
Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
Maintain strong knowledge of project design and scheduling changes to support QA test effectiveness, focus, and reporting.
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
