We are looking for a hardworking, innovative Technology and AI Partner leader with great energy, passion and initiative to drive new business for the fastest growing and most popular database on the planet, MongoDB, to complete the MongoDB developer data platform vision, and to accelerate MongoDB's momentum in the fast-paced AI market.

This Partner Leader will have the exciting and unique opportunity to develop, execute and scale a world class Technology Partnership Program that delivers strong value to the partners, our joint end customers and MongoDB. They will identify leading technology companies to drive technical integrations, joint solutions, and joint GTM strategies. They will be instrumental in complementing MongoDB's product portfolio with partner integrations and solutions, driving MongoDB revenue growth, and awareness of MongoDB in the developer and AI community.

This Partner Leader should have a proven track record of building and nurturing exec-level relationships with technology companies, a hands-on approach to develop new opportunities, technical acumen, and work cross functionally in a fast paced work environment.

This role will be based remotely in North America.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner Strategy - Perform industry analysis, understand technology and market shifts and synthesize customer problems and needs to define the optimal ecosystem of partners, in collaboration with product, industry and partner teams. Identify, recruit and activate partnerships within this ecosystem
  • Partner Success - Create, implement and drive effective programs for partners. Ensure validated technology integrations (a) have brand awareness internally and externally and drive new customer demand, (b) qualified partners are recommended for opportunities and deliver quality results, (c) partners understand and are held accountable to what is required of them to drive success
  • Partner Development and Management: Build and drive all aspects of partner relationships including partner validations, KPIs, QBRs, and other cadence
  • Joint Product Success - Drive cadence with MongoDB Technical Resources and Tech Partners' Product, Engineering and Implementation leaders for validating integrations, product roadmap alignment and to ensure joint integrations and reference architectures align with best practices
  • Demand Generation - Work with marketing to launch outbound and inbound campaigns, feeding new logo and new workload acquisition, and the MongoDB Co-Sell program
  • Orchestrate cross-functional resources internally and externally to support you in delivering a valuable partnership with your partners, including Product, Sales, Pre-Sales, Marketing, Legal, Partner and triangulating with other partners in our ecosystem

Qualifications:

  • Energetic, resourceful, upbeat, entrepreneurial, tenacious team player
  • Prior experience in business development and programs for technology partners
  • Proven experience developing successful and scalable technology partnership programs
  • Proven ability to open doors, network and forge relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executives
  • Strong, relevant experience and knowledge of AI/ML, enterprise technology adoption, Open Source, data management and processing, and cloud computing
  • Consistent goal achievement in a highly competitive environment
  • Ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology through presentation, verbal and written communication
  • Proven ability to structure proposals and build joint business plans
  • Strong program and project management skills, ability to direct cross-functional processes and teams with timely deliverables
  • Experience developing and promoting technology partner value propositions to direct sales organizations and implementing GTM programs including joint sales enablement, demand generation, lead tracking, deal registration and joint sales reporting
  • College degree in business, economics, engineering, finance, science, math or similar
  • Possess aptitude to learn quickly and establish credibility. High EQ and self-aware
  • The ability to work in fast paced environment, be trusted to drive initiatives autonomously and gain buy in from a wide collection of stakeholders
  • Passionate about growing your career in the largest market in software and developing and maintaining an in-depth understanding of MongoDB products
