One Man Studio is an outsourcing studio working with the mayor AAA Companies in the industry. We are a Team of experienced and passionate developers who love videogames.

The role at One Man Studio

One Man Studio has an amazing opportunity for a highly talented Material artist, As a candidate, you must be passionate about all aspects of material creation and integration in Unreal Engine,

For this particular project we are looking for a stylised and artistic portfolio to join the AAA unannounced project that we are currently developing, we need dazzling materials to bring life in to our world

The ideal candidate will have a history of demonstrating an exceptional eye for detail, creative flair, stylistic versatility and the ability to communicate and collaborate on artistic and technical aspects with other team disciplines.

If you have a passion for creating real-time materials in Unreal Engine and would like to work within a highly collaborative and open team, then we have the right opportunity for you to improve and expand your skills in a very supportive environment.

This is a fully remote position.

As a Material Artist, you will be working with the Environment Art team to deliver materials and textures for use throughout the game world. You will be responsible for creating consistently high-quality environment materials and raising the bar for content in our game. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders so the ability to communicate effectively is very important.

Our ideal candidate is a highly skilled material artist who is passionate about their craft, skilled in texturing, and has the track record to prove it.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
• Work closely with leads, seniors, and multi-disciplinary stakeholders to establish texture and material workflows.
• Create high-quality environment materials both for man-made and organic assets,
• Contribute to creating Benchmarks for various asset types and define workflows and processes for obtaining the best results possible.
• Create base material library for use in asset creation.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
• A portfolio demonstrating high-quality Material work.
• Strong knowledge of PBR techniques and material authoring.
• Mastery of relevant software packages such as Zbrush, Substance Suite, and Unreal Engine
• Great understanding of art fundamentals and design principles
• A genuine passion for video games.
• Experience with photogrammetry and using scan data in your work is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English is a must since you will be an active of a worldwide Team
