Job Overview 🎓

The Head of Talently Go will be responsible for defining and guiding the overall strategy of the Talently GO business. This role will lead four key teams (35-40 team members) to achieve their objectives and work collaboratively with the founding and executive team to define and execute the Talently GO business vision. The successful candidate will ensure sustainable growth of 10% per month throughout 2023, leading the business to break-even while actively improving the user experience.

Talently Go is our Edtech business, a platform that helps software engineers in finding high-paying jobs in technology. Our product offers mid senior and senior engineers access to content and one-on-one mentorship in employability and tech-related topics, allowing users to improve their job search process and accelerate their journey to employment.

 

👉🏼 Key Responsibilities

- Lead the strategy and growth of Talently Go by directing four teams: Enrollments (admissions and lead generation), Placements, Customer Success & Collections and Product. Coordinate efforts with the marketing team to acquire new users.

- Collaborate with the founding and executive team to define the company strategy, participate in key business decisions and work with your direct team to achieve established objectives.

- Ensure sustained double-digit growth (+10% MoM) while maintaining the business break-even.

- Actively improve the user experience of Talently Go by enhancing the journey map, team processes, and implementing new product features. Continuously measure and improve NPS and user feedback.

- Ensure the implementation and monitoring of scalable processes, keeping them up-to-date and relevant for the team and making improvements when necessary.

- Generate and keep all management indicator boards up-to-date to enable quick and efficient decision-making by the founding/executive team and team members.

- Manage GO's operating expenses, project monthly revenue to the finance department and ensure the business remains break-even.

- Promote a culture of high motivation and performance among the team, facilitating decision-making by leaders, driving team satisfaction, goal achievement and maintaining aligned incentives.

- Train and guide the team of leaders to perform their functions and those of their teams efficiently and in an automated way, always seeking to achieve more with less.

- Build and retain a top-tier team, ensuring the growth of high-potential team members, conducting performance reviews and actively participating in selection and recruitment processes for new team members.

Requirements

🔥 You are the person we are looking for if...

 

  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving business growth as a CEO or in leadership roles (Growth, Operations or others), ideally in Edtech or education companies.
  • Strong understanding of business strategy, financial management, and product development, in the Edtech or SaaS industry.
  • Experience in creating and improving user experiences, working directly with product and engineering teams.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including the founding and executive team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
  • Preferably, candidates for this position should have a background in product development and designing/improving user experiences for customers.
